Historically, during times of economic crisis in our country, we have learned that communities give to communities. Renton is a unique community in King County in that its members care deeply about the well-being of each other and its leaders are involved in many non-profit Boards, assisting the decision-making that promotes services throughout the community.

Today, as we continue to struggle during tough economic times, we need your help so that Communities In Schools of Renton (CISR) can continue providing services free of charge to those who need them most in our community. If we truly believe that education can break the cycle of poverty and inequity, then we, together have a responsibility to ensure the academic well-being of every student in our public schools. CISR can help students (and their families) to reach their academic goals as we collaborate hand-in-hand with the Renton School District. You can help them too through CISR in diverse ways:
